Firewalling can be the main problem, if you done every other setting correct to what we recommend.
Seeing HUBs in networking page isn't a important factor. As long as you can gain one ip, then you are able to request the other ip in the network mesh. It's a bonus to browsing others if your on that list. Not being on the list means you can still search and upload and download from all IP's in the mesh, if firewalling allows. Search for other people with no search filters on.
Like DC, eMule and most other peer to peer apps, if you have too much firewalling then your will have alot of trouble moving data packets between the peers. On eMule this is termed as LowID's, where you can't connect from heavy firewalled pc to heavy firewalled peer.
Check that all software firewalls(xp ones too) are off, or tailored to suit Shareaza UDP and TCP port 6346.
Make two profiles, both having a ping ability, meaning PUBLIC/ICMP able. one profile for UDP 6346 and the other for TCP on port 6346.
Putting your router to bridging mode can help.
NOTE : the way we have setup Shareaza, the top level list in networks page is a list of HUBS/servers, so you need to force your client into HUB mode to get on that list.
In settings you need, "Force this node to be a Hub".
PLEASE go here and slowly check through your settings and match..
