Easy Steps to Shareaza Sharing.

1.) Download and install the client,

http://www.kiwiuk.net/shareaza/Shareaza1883.exe

2.) Once installed add and modify

Menu>Tools>Settings>Connection> set the Port to 6346
Menu>Tools>Settings>Gnutella> set “Hub to Hub” to 50
Menu>Tools>Settings>Advanced> set Discovery.FailureLimit” to 512

Note : Doesn't matter if you're in Leaf or Hub modes.

Press F9 and mouse menu “Add Service”
paste in “http://cgi-bin.spaceports.com/~tassy/gcache.php” as “GwebCache”

Press F7 and mouse menu “Add Rule” for each

comment= ip= mask=
Netspace1 203.113.244.0 255.255.255.0
Netspace2 203.113.245.0 255.255.255.0
Keypoint1 203.21.143.0 255.255.255.0
Keypoint2 203.55.252.0 255.255.255.0

Mouse menu and “Default Policy“ to “Deny”

3.) Firewalling? If you’re firewalled

Open port 6346 for TCP
Open port 6346 for UDP

If it needs a IP, use the IP of your computer's network card. The same computer running the Shareaza client.

If you see a ICMP option, set it to "accept" or another term is "Public"

These settings are in the firewall or router configuration software area.

FINISHED and now CONNECT.

* Goto tassyp2p.tripod.com for further settings.
* With these settings all data is free.
* It many take a small amount of time to read the share group, after connecting.

Even though we were disappointed not to see a chat room and friends list in the beta version 1.8.8.0 of Shareaza, some of the users have vouched to keep sharing on it. Most concluded that with the drop in Netspace users and problems with web based Netspace internet (no problems after work arounds programmed into DCache) that the group wasn't going to get bigger and that we should stop promoting it.

The new ed2k support is a benefit but in my opinion isn't the best method for emuling. The great thing is that you can now share files that are partially coming down off emule/edonkey and Bittorrent/Torrent.

There shouldn't be any reason why sharing should not work if you have the settings above.
