I installed swg on my laptop to take to Mexico next week. It's running windows vista. I got everything down loaded now but in the launch pad I can't get it to say "play". The thing says download complete but then just stays on "updating". Can anyone help?

Try "run as administrator" by right clicking the station launcher and hitting that option.

You may need to ditch the firewall rules that you have set up for SWG and recreate them. I don't use Vista but I do experience the same problem you described in your post and that works for me.

Always worked for me with no hassle, and no need to run as administrator (mind you I installed games in c:\games instead of c:\program files\ etc etc )

Unless you install SWG in a folder that you have full permissions too
Then you only need to run as admin when the Launchpad has an update (as that gets put in c:/program files/sony/etc etc

i have no probs running it on vista
I sneak in my own house.
It's four in the morning
I've had too much to drink
Said i was out with the boys
I creep in my bedroom
I slip into bed,
I know if i wake her,
I'll wake up dead
