I was reading something earlier in the week about ATI trying to convince game makers to go with DX10.1 specs as standard (which will have to happen eventually anyway), which will mean that those games will only work on ATI hardware, as from what they said, no NVidia harware currently supports dx10.1.
From what I remember reading, Dx10.1 offers further performance enhancements, new features and the added requirement of 4xAA as standard.
