'Dead' Man Wakes Up Under Autopsy Knife

Unread post by Anach » Wed Sep 19, 2007 6:38 pm

Carlos Camejo, a Venezuelan man who had been declared dead but woke up in the morgue in excruciating pain after medical examiners began their autopsy, poses for the camera in La Victoria September 17, 2007. Camejo, 33, was declared dead after a highway accident and taken to the morgue, where examiners began an autopsy only to realize something was amiss when he started bleeding. They quickly sought to stitch up the incision on his face.

ouch!
I sneak in my own house.
It's four in the morning
I've had too much to drink
Said i was out with the boys
I creep in my bedroom
I slip into bed,
I know if i wake her,
I'll wake up dead

There was a movie I watched while I was younger, a guy had a car accident and was paralysed. He got taken to the morgue and you hear the dialogue from his thoughts and him trying to get his finger to move. Only to have the sound of the circular saw be the last thing you hear.

Possibly a twilight zone episode.

A very scary thought.

The excellent television series, Dead Like Me, had a scene on this topic and I found it to be the most chilling piece of television I have seen. George - a novice Grim Reaper, hopes to save a person from dying and discovers in the hardest possible way that it is not possible.

I hope the gentleman who experienced this is able to make a full recovery. I also hope the pathologist who er.. hmm... was about to treat him? is similarly able to recover from the shock.
