Somthing funny at work today

It seems we are going to lose our MD (I guess thats the same as a VP in the States) for the Division I work for.

The IT department started an anonymous "book of condolences" (he's not dead btw) most of the comments are things like 'bye', 'don't call us we wont call you' and the standard 'don't let the door hit you on the way out'.

I think one can guess he is not a popular figure around the office, not that we ever see him.

All we now want is for the standard leaving curry, but that means we will have to buy him a leaving present.

MD =Managing Director, VP = Vice President?

I've not worked anywhere with either, so I cant share your experiences
