The Force Unleashed
So I DL'ed the Demo on the Xbox today. (Thanks Scott)
I was pretty impressed at the graphics + physics implemented in the game. The only problems I felt were the Camera Angles and targeting issues when using Force Choke.
Sure would be nice if force push actually looked as punishing in SWG.
Any one else got a chance to try it?

I heard that someone stated there belief that there wasnt going to be PC version, but then later someone corrected him to say they definitely have a PC version, but are still deciding on how to handle the hardware requirements and have no date for it's release.
They have a version for every console and portable game system on the market, they will do a PC version. It's getting more common for companies to do console games first, and not announce a PC version until later. That way they get twice the sales.

this games fun
very 1st level you play as vader slaughtering wookies
when you build your guy up he's got some awesome combo's and stuff
story seems to be quite good as well so far
there are few niggles, like falling and getting stuck, but they are few and far between, overall i'm reallly enjoying it

I thought it was pretty average for the first few levels but as you build your character up and start getting some of those "Unleashing" abilities it starts getting fun. I finished it last night and now am just going back for all the stuff I missed. I can't wait to find a "unlimited force power" cheat so I can just run through the whole game knocking the shit out of everything.
That ISD was a real mother though, took me an hour and a half to figure it out which really sucks for a game.

Great story, somewhat quirky play, too easy some bits too hard others. Overall Id rate it a 8. Its a must for a die hard star wars fan for the story, which is much better than any of the latest movies (ep 1 2 and 3). You get to see Vader be a genuine evil bastard.Toucan wrote:this games fun

Cheats:
The following codes unlock costumes not normally earned through stage progression. You can save your game after entering these codes to save the result. These codes are for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game only and do not work for the PSP, Wii, or PS2 versions of the game. Also note that should you save the game after you add a costume normally acquired by holocron, that holocron will not appear (even if you haven't acquired it, hence wrecking your score)
MANDALORE - Master Kota Costume
WOOKIEE - Master Kento Costume (unlocked by holocron)
HOLOCRON - Jedi Adventurer Costume
DANTOOINE - Ceremonial Jedi Costume (unlocked by Jedi ending)
KORRIBAN - Sith Stalker Costume (unlocked by Sith ending)
The following codes disable your save (until you reset your system) since they alter the reality of your game (cheating). These codes are for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game only and do not work for the PSP, Wii, or PS2 versions of the game.
MARAJADE - Unlocks Force Combos
LIGHTSABER - Extra Damage effect always on
KATARN - All Force Powers at maximum potency
I figure those will help make the game super-unleashed.

Beat the crap out of this game this last weekend...don't think I'll be playing it much anymore though.
Story is pretty short, bosses are either stupid-easy or incredibly difficult, and NPC's are real assholes. (Especially when you get blasted with a knockdown, get back up just to get knocked down again).

After alot of moaning and Pestering I got my grubby hands on FU last night 2 days before my anniversary. I have to say its awesome! Having a HD TV to play it on makes the world of differance I reckon. Its visually stunning and fun. Only played the 1st level as the apprentice. I was trying to get all the holocrons (13/15!!)
