#4. An MMO will never have any sort of technical problems, delays, or interruptions in service, for any reason. If this happens, the developers are either completely incompetent, they are lazy, they are part of a corrupt organization that is cheating its customers, or all of the above.

If MMO servers crash or are taken down for maintenance, and there is an interruption in service, the developers will immediately appear live on the forums, explaining to players every minute detail about the reasons why, and will give them minute by minute updates. If they do not, they are guilty of either a disgraceful lack of communication (i.e., they are incompetent), they are part of a corrupt organization that is cheating its customers, or both. And if they use wording in their explanations that fails to anticipate every possibility that any player may misinterpret or misunderstand what they have said, this also means that the developers are incompetent, they are part of a corrupt organization that is cheating its customers, or both.
#6. If an MMO's servers are taken down for maintenance or to be updated with new content, bug fixes, or other changes, those servers will always come back up at precisely the scheduled time, without any delays. This is true regardless of any technical problems that may arise (but this will never happen, see #4). If there is no scheduled time for them to be back online and the servers do not come up immediately, the developers are either incompetent, they are "stalling," they are lazy, they are part of a corrupt organization that is cheating its customers, or all of the above.
Bizarre MMO Expectations
I don't think it's a bizarre expectation to have working servers. (Ones that don't crash for 5 hours, keeping paying customers out) Like last Thursday when Qer and I were trapped like hampsters on Dathomir.
Or at least have someone from Tech support explain why they have been down for that long... :roll:
