Same here :)

One of these days I'll get to watch the last three seasons of DS9 but until then, I don't get what all the fuss is about. STTNG remains my favourite of all the Star Trek series, followed by the original, then Enterprise, then DS9 and Voyager.

fools the lot of you
ds9 is not only the best star trek, but possibly the best tv series of all time
if you've only watched the 1st 4 gelf, then you need to finish it.
thats when it really kicks off
space battles are on par with the opening of 1st contact, if not bigger

series 6 episode "in the pale moonlight"
possibly the best trek ever
perfect example of how a federation captain should never ever act

Touc is right, DS9 got fantastic once they had a war to fight, before that is was a bit bland. In the latter seasons the banter between Bashir and O'Brian was great and Jadzia Dax was great all around (I'm a fan of Terry Farrell).

Enterprise was probably my next fav, but it was only good because of how it explored the things the original series laid out.

I grew up glued to the TV when TNG came on every weekend but it just genuinely hurts to watch it in reruns on cable now.

Voyager - the series I try to forget existed.

For the Stargate lineup I like Atlantis more than I like SG1 although in the last season when they got the Farscape cast it started getting good again. I don't quite get why it needed to be cancelled, it was just coming into its own.

Now I just hope Terminator can survive/revive with the schedulng change in February. Damn good show. Summer Glau - best terminator ever.

I grew up on STTNG too :) It was great stuff and I find I like it even more now :)

Voyager had a couple of good episodes but on the whole I thought it dire.

I struggled through from episode one of season one all the way to half way through season four of Deep Space Nine at which point I moved house and out of contact with my friend who had all the DS9 tapes sent to him by his American friend. I've never seen the rest of the saga and am not in a hurry to do so because, with the exception of a few, the preceding episodes were so boring.

I really liked Enterprise too :) The first season was on par with what I'd seen of DS9 in terms of quality but thereafter it developed into a cracking show and I wish it had continued.

The last few series of SG-1 were absolutely cracking :) It was great to see Ben Browder and Claudia Black on Stargate but I *wish* that Farscape had been allowed its last season, season five, instead. Farscape is the single most brilliant SciFi television series ever. :girl_pinkglassesf:

I agree that Atlantis was cancelled too soon. The last series had some good moments but the end was not what I was expecting (out of respect for those who haven't seen it, I'll refrain from making any further comment :) )

Count me as another who is enjoying the Terminator series and who hopes that this show will go on :)

Ive started watching DS9 repeats on sky tv on my days off, usually on about 3pm.

I remember seeing some of them from way back, and some of the episodes are actually really good and interesting, I remember one episode i recently watched, dont know what season or eposide name. But it involved sisko being really dodgy and getting involved with blackmailing quark to stop him pressing charges against a bloke that is a holo expert to make a fake hologram of cardassians plotting against the romulans, then it turns out garrak or whatever the taylors name is deliberatly made sure the romulans would know the holo was fake so he could blow up a romulan senate guy so the romulans would think it was the dominion or cardasians or something. It was very well done and I was impressed.

And sisko was doing a log thing and said he feels really guilty but the outcome is the best thing even though he acted inappropriatly for a starfleet officer.

If I see the boxed set for mucho cheapness I reckon ill buy and watch it all although may take me a while.

Anyway an actor of Carlisles caliber will do wonders for a sci fi show, Im not a big fan of stargate shows, but will definatly be watching the one with Carlisle, makes a change from him playing skanky scummy nutjobs in britain lol. I did really like the original stargate movie though, but never took to the shows.
Wham bam thankyou MAM.
