Not only is Shanda asking all gamers with female characters to verify their sex but they ask that you do so via Webcam :shock:

Apparently, their accounts have been frozen until proof has been obtained. Presumably males found to be masquerading as females will be banned and have to give all their stuff to the nearest real lass....?

Could this be the beginning of a trend?

I think SWG would be in trouble though.
Use of undefined constants causes assumptions!

I actually did a bit on this story on the blog I started: Lag-O-Rama. I didn't WANT to start a blog, but that's the law...everyone has to have one now.

The pic in my article links to a news story, btw, that is an almost PERFECT example of why the webcam-verification thingy doesn't have a hope in hell of working. :lol:
