For most my life (when i used to watch TV), the Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games were nothing more to me than the time when TV was really boring, and I'd keep asking "how much longer until its finished". Much like sundays mornings when it was the religious shows.

Thankfully now days with Internet, DVDs and such, it's no longer an issue and those sport fans can watch everyone else run about without it bugging me.

bores the arse off me too, but i find it really funny some of the total scumbag area's of the city where the events will be held
ie the mountain biking on the cathkin braes
i wouldn't even drive a tank through there
