New Client Brings eDonkey to Shareaza and other Networks.

The new client is out but ther eis bad news in that there isn't any friends list or chat room facilities.

The changes are ed2k(emule,edonkey), Bittorrent ability. This could be a big winner for IX people on the mainland. The problem here is that ed2k and Bittorrent don't add much extra for private local shares unless someone runs a emule private server in Tassy.

The security rules also block emule, so it's either world access or blocking for private shares.

You will need to make sure your port stays on 6346 as the client is now defaulted to pick a random port to start with.

Also make sure you have G1 support turned on

After installing :

* re do our Dcache entry, "http://cgi-bin.spaceports.com/~tassy/gcache.php"

For emule leeching ;

* make a new rule up, "0.0.0.0" mask "255.255.255.255"

* then make a rule foreach server ip, eg

Adanet "195.112.128.222" mask "255.255.255.255"
SilentBob "194.97.40.168" mask "255.255.255.255"

If you keep your rule on you will only download from Netspace and Keypoint users that are on the same server and sharing the file your after.
