need another show....
well as my stargate marathon comes close to an end, i'm looking out for my next obsession
right now i'm on season 9 of sg1 and my worries about losing o'neill were immediatly removed by the arrival of valla
brilliant character
and cameron mitchell's not too shabby either
then it clicked. they were both in farscape (yes the actors, not the characters), which i've never seen
everything i read about it is good
reckon it's worth the investment?

Been thinking of watching Farscape myself. I watched half the first series when it was originally shown here, but with work shifts etc I ended up missing too many episodes and lost the plot (literally!)
So would be interesting to see how it all ended
As for other shows, hmm well I have been watching some Andromeda reruns lately..cheesey it might be but it's still marginally entertaining.

Farscape is fantastic, I got hooked on it one summer years ago when SciFi channel did a "catch up from the beginning with one episode a day" marathon before the new season began.
Very unhappy when that show ended. Reuniting those two actors in Stargate was nice but makes me just miss Farscape more.
Also a lot of fun, though very short lived, is Firefly. At least it ends with a movie.
The Stargate straight to DVD movie isn't too bad either, another one due out soon.

I've been watching a show named "Moonlight", it's about a Vampire P.I. Surprisingly good, even if it sounded tacky

Then watch Babylon 5..once you get past the first series it's great (still kinda need to watch series 1 though as it has ties into later episodes)Toucan wrote:arf arf arf
i need a big long sprawling saga of a show
ds9 to me was tv perfected
176 hour story
Hrmm..I must get my dvd box set back off my bro, I feel like watching it now~!!
My favourite part, after the shadow war when B5 declares independence from earth and goes to war. Great stuff

Handily the commander changes after the first series. Sinclair goes off to be some Minbari Ambassador, and John Sheridan takes over...and as he killed a shedload of the Minbari in the Earth-Minbari war, they don't like it so much.. :pToucan wrote:my main gripe was the commander guy
he sounded like he was permenantly voicing trailers

I paid £35 for seasons 1 - 5, not got any of the movies though I have seen them. Might get 'the lost tales' soon as it's the only one I haven't seen.Toucan wrote:hmmm.....
ALL of b5 (including the new stuff) £80
all of farscape £140
I was dissapointed that 'Crusade' was cancelled after only one season, as the storyline had barely started..and it was aired in the wrong order on TV!
