I'll check into it soon.

Does it happen in both mouse mods (alt)?

Mouse mods?. or do you mean mouse modes?. All I know is I hit the alt key, then with the mouse I click on the icons on the pre-nge menubar.

What I can say is this started

Yes mouse modes. Anyway I get what you mean now I've tried it myself (I usually use keyboard shortcuts).

You say the popup version of the menu doesnt have the same behaviour? I'll see if I can find why it's doing so. However it shouldnt really affect much, as you cant cose the windows using the buttons, so you're either going to have to move your mouse anyway, or press a shortcut key.

I found out one of my older machines was still using the older 9.8.0 pre-nge ui mod. The menu bar on that mod doesnt have the same problem.

Sometimes in the middle of crafting when you hit the hotkey "I" to open your inventory, you end up typing the letter "I" instead of opening your inventory.

This is where the hotbar comes in for me. Since when crafting you are already in mouse mode, Its much simpler to hit the inventory icon. The bug I mentioned earlier happens frequently, and, sometimes when hitting the icon it acts like hitting the alt key and all the windows close down.

So today I decided to import the old ui_ground_hud_buttonbar_skinned file from a previous version, I believe 9.8.0, and everything is working fine now.

Been alittle busy working on other stuff to look into that.

I'll have to check all 4 of the menubars (Space, ground, coloured, original) and see if they all do it.

The old one wont save position when you exit the game and is missing some buttons.

Yes I finally fixed those issues you mentioned. Not sure what is up with the updater, maybe the site was overloaded. It worked ok for me, so hopefully was a one time bug.

I dont understand why the updater never works for me.. I keep having uninstall and download the new one

I go to Start, All Programs, Anach's Pre-NGE UI, UI Updater.. Prompt comes up, I hit ok.......nothing. Nothing happens after that.

Probably blocked by firewall or something. As long as you can get to the main site and grab it, you should be fine.

Same thing happened to me. I logged into SWG to download the new patch and it (installer) finally popped up.

I get the same behavior, no errors or anything. Just went to the main page and downloaded it. Got the movement mod while I was there... nice!

Dont forget to update folks!
BE WARNED - Game Update 5.4 happened very suddenly and because servers are down I am unable to test the changes made to the menu bars (new buttons).

Crashing..

Unread post by Rugburn » Wed Aug 20, 2008 10:22 am

I updated to the current version 14.0.10.5 and it is crashing the game while loading.

Seems the classic menu bar is causing the crash. I switched to the colored one and it loaded fine.

Note: Your website changelog says the current version is 14.10.10.5

Thanks for the bug report. The fixed version will be released as soon as I finish checking the other changes.

Istik, my "Updater" says a new version is available but when I download the "new" one, it tells me ive already got it installed.

This happend with last one for the Christmas/Life Day update.

Am I doin somthing wrong or was there no update??

NM.. somewhere along the line version numbers seem messed up.. Installed one on site, seems to work.

I was wondering, what happened to the re-sizable health bar? I remember when I first used this mod, a long time ago, I use to be able to change the size of the health bar.. Seems like that changed after the devs moved the buffs/debuffs under it.

That's exactly what happened. The resizing buff display broke the resizing HAM. It was one or the other.

I must add that every now and then when I go to quit the game, the game crashes. Not sure if this is a mod thing or a swg thing. Doesnt effect much other than it tells me the game crashed next time I login..

I've heard that happen with many computers running Vista. I think a workaround is to run it in Administrator Mode.

Check the Tech Forums on the SWG forums.
