LucasArts contacted GameSpot to clarify a few pieces of information. The video was given out to members of Hyperspace, the company's online Star Wars community. The clip is also a "pre-visualization"--a video made to give people an idea of what to expect in the upcoming game, and is not running on the game's engine

Hopefully it wll be as good as it looks, but there is one thing that I noticed. All they used was the Force, never once did they play with the lightsaber in their hand, well, except for the Lady Jade stabbing it into the ground, but what about Lightsaber Battle?

Just curious, but I hope its considered a high priority, lightsaber battle just rocks! Makes me get goosebumps just thinking about it.

I saw some concept art a couple weeks ago depicting a Jedi wielding two lightsabers with 30-ft.-long blades and going against an AT/AT. In the painting, he's shown in mid-leap, having just chopped the AT lengthwise in two.

The nutshell characterization of the game is that it will allow players to "kick ass with the Force." Sounds like they're expecting lightsaber combat to be on that level, too.

Hrm... still no mention of this game coming to the PC.... all I've seen so far heard anyone mention is the X-Box and Playstation-3 -- not even the Wii.

Gawd, I hope Sony's not giving LucasArts a fat subsidy to build a "killer app" for the PS3. I hate consoles.
