The article is a decent read until you reach the jaw-dropping part...
According to
Jake Neri, producer for Galaxies at LucasArts:
"The player base for MMO games has exploded," he said. "We see new people trying the game all the time."
<snip>
"Galaxies launched in 2003 and has been tweaked a few times since as its creators realised what people wanted to do."
<snip>
"The series of changes has aligned the game more closely with what players actually do. For instance it has led to the number of available professions being cut from 32 to nine."
It appears that Mr. Neri/LucasArts is just as switched on and plugged in to SWG as Lucas was to the originals when he made those prequels.
"Let your love flow outward through the universe,
To its height, its depth, its broad extent,
A limitless love, without hatred or enmity."

Out heads exploded, aswell as the complaints.
Use of undefined constants causes assumptions!
