Well the Russians are not to happy about the proposed Missile defense system since a part of it will be based in their back yard.
Hopefully this is just posturing to get the west to rethink things.
The real danger is if we do go ahead with the missiles, then the Russians may feel that they need to have a buffer between it and them, then there could be real trouble.
